From 27th to 29th April, the senior leadership team and African business managers of Shalina Healthcare met in Dubai, to kick off the new financial year. The theme for the year was announced as ‘Accelerating Growth’, building on the steady growth that we’ve seen in recent years.
We looked at learnings from the prior financial year and the key growth drivers for 2015-16 and beyond for each market. Some strategic initiatives for the new year were also announced. These included; a Balanced Scorecard initiative, whereby we will use this well-known methodology to ensure that we are progressing towards the achievement of our strategic goals; and an IT initiative, whereby we are implementing Microsoft NAV-LS Retail ERP system across our markets in Africa to improve efficiencies and better served customers.
