In our ongoing quest to ensure that millions of people in Africa live healthier and happier lives, education about malaria is more critical than ever, especially as we focus our attention on the globally driven World Malaria Day.

Malaria kills millions of people every year. Sadly, Africa, is the worst affected area in the world. We continued our decade-long focus on medical outreach camps: educating, screening, diagnosing, and providing free medication. With World Malaria Day on 25 April, we used this opportunity to ramp up efforts to spread awareness about malaria, in terms of both prevention and treatment.

Our combined efforts to commemorate World Malaria Day were run across all African regions, including a multi-channel live webinar with eminent doctors, in-store promotions, participation in regional health fairs and the sharing of helpful videos on our social media.

In less than a week, we touched the lives of nearly 10,000 people on-the-ground, and with continued innovative efforts and active participation in all communities, we are more determined than ever to Knock out Malaria!
